Configuring Python with RStudio
Data scientists and analysts can use the
reticulate package to call Python
from within R applications, including Shiny apps, R Markdown reports, and REST
APIs with Plumber. The
rsconnect package can be used to publish R applications
with Python content to RStudio Connect. The
rsconnect-jupyter Jupyter Notebook
extension can be used to publish Jupyter Notebooks to RStudio Connect.
Administrators can configure one or more versions of Python with RStudio Server Pro (for application development) and RStudio Connect (for application publishing).
